被有意错译的几个英文单词

Dialectics：正式译为“辩证法”，其实原意有“诡辩术”之意。

Materialism：正式译为“唯物主义”。其实字面上的原意为“物质主义”，或“实利主义”，并无“唯一”的含义。

Idealism：正式译为“唯心主义”。其实字面上的原意为“理想主义”，并无“唯一”的含义。

Proletariat：原意为“最下层阶级”，被翻译为“无产阶级”。

Dictatorship： 正式译为“专政”。其实字面上的原意为“独裁”。

Evolution：在有关达尔文的理论的中国语译文中，应译为“演化”，即逐渐变化的意思，而不是现在经常有意译为的“进化”。

很多人恐怕还不了解怎样利用大学图书馆的资源。^_^，不要砸砖头。我开始也不会用的，压根都不知道超星图书馆里还有这么多的书籍可用。超星图书馆是要注册会员的，可是大学本身图书馆买的有超星的书，一般总要在10万册以上吧，语言学里面常见的都可以找到的。如果你所在大学定购的超星书多的话，那么恭喜你了，你就有很多免费的书看了。不要到处到网上找，挖掘一下自己的图书馆先。

A few weeks ago I asked for suggestions for introductory reading on cognitive linguistics for undergraduates. The following is a copy of the annotated bibliography that I’ve been able to build up, largely with help from the following:

An email list for disseminating ICLA news, queries, and discussions of interest to cognitive linguists. Open to ICLA members and non-members. Cogling-l is hosted at UCSD and the listowner is Seana Coulson. You can subscribe directly by using the web subscription form at Cogling-l.
